Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a Manager Pharmacy Specialty in Plano, TX to oversee daily duties and manage key specialty pharmacy accounts. The role emphasizes leading pharmacist and technician teams in specialty services, improving delivery operations, and ensuring patient care continuity.

The position requires a PharmD or BA/BS in Pharmacy with a current active license and at least 3 years of related experience, plus TB testing for Paragon/Carelon units.

Qualifications

• Requires a BA/BS in Pharmacy or a PharmD.
• Must possess an active, valid, current unrestricted pharmacy license (RPH).
• For Paragon and Carelon Health business unit, completion of a Tuberculosis test is required.

Responsibilities

• Train and manage pharmacist and pharmacy technician staff in the provision of specialty pharmacy services.
• Maximize the efficiency and productivity of the pharmacy and delivery operations.
• Provide leadership in ongoing management of patients throughout intake, care provision and distribution of drugs and supplies.
