Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join the ambulatory pharmacy services team embedded in a primary care clinic. You will collaborate with physicians, APPs, nursing staff and other professionals to optimize medication therapy, provide patient education, and support annual wellness visits.

Minimum education includes a Doctor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree with residency preferred; SC Board of Pharmacy licensure is required, along with

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor's degree in pharmacy.
• Completion of a pharmacy residency preferred.
• Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Manage medication therapy for patients in an ambulatory clinic.
• Provide patient education and support for wellness visits and preventive care.
• Close care gaps and coordinate with the clinic team to optimize outcomes.

Additional Job Description

Minimum Training and Education: Doctor of Pharmacy or a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy. Completion of a pharmacy residency preferred. Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy.
