Job summary

McKesson seeks an experienced Account Manager to own customer relationships within pharmacy practice accounts and align McKesson products and services with client objectives. You will drive retention and value across the account base.

The role requires 4+ years in account management or pharmacy operations, deep knowledge of pharmacy workflows, and strong communication. Travel and hybrid work are expected to support our national customer base.

Qualifications

• 4+ years account management or pharmacy operations.
• Experience in provider consulting, field sales, and/or product management.
• Knowledge of pharmacy systems, pharmacy operations and pharmacy workflow.
• Demonstrated experience in developing customer improvement plans.
• Team collaboration and cross-functional teamwork.
• Community oncology experience a plus.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician or equivalent pharmacy experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute value-add activities for existing customer base of pharmacies.
• Advise on practice processes, buying cycles and ROI of McKesson offerings.
• Educate practices to build their understanding of issues and capabilities; act as a thought leader.
• Establish relationships with practices at multiple levels within the practice organization.
• Assist practices with issue escalation and resolution and monitor satisfaction.
• Monitor contracts, payor trends, and financial performance to inform customers.
