Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be licensed and registered as a Pharmacy Technician or willing to apply for temporary registration as Technician Trainee.
• Basic math skills and strong time management are essential.
• Detail-oriented with ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Able to use computers and MS Office applications in daily work.
• Experience with Kirby dispensing system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Shipping & Packaging
• Scan medication barcodes to verify paperwork, medications, and patient file information in the pharmacy system.
• Prepare and package products with appropriate materials to prevent damage and ensure integrity.
• Review delivery instructions and select shipping service based on patient preferences.
• Assist with inventory counts and removal of out-of-date products.
• Fill prescribed medications using correct NDC numbers and quantities when needed.
• Verify patient label, NDC, and quantity before final pharmacist review.
