Job summary

Weis Markets in Lackawanna County, PA is seeking a Pharmacy Service Representative to provide prompt, courteous service in our Pharmacy Department. You will perform prescription information entry, insurance billing, and basic problem resolution to ensure accurate processing.

Responsibilities include retrieving medications, creating labels, maintaining an orderly department, and assisting with inventory and daily operations. High school diploma or GED and 600 hours of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 600 hours of retail or pharmacy experience preferred.
• Ability to perform computerized prescription processing.

Responsibilities

• Handle prescription entry and patient information with accuracy.
• Retrieve medications from inventory and prepare labels.
• Process new and refill prescriptions and bill insurance when possible.
• Maintain pharmacy area clean and organized.
• Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
• Prepare liquids as allowed by law.
