Job summary

Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center, part of NYC Health + Hospitals, seeks an experienced pharmacist leader to oversee inpatient, outpatient and satellite pharmacy services. The role focuses on optimizing drug therapy, safety, and operations within a large urban hospital system.

The position requires NYS pharmacist licensure, a Pharm.D. or related master's degree, and several years of supervisory experience in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Valid NYS Pharmacist license and NYSED registration.
• Pharm.D. or MBA/MPH or related master’s degree required.
• Minimum four years’ licensed pharmacist experience, with two years in supervision or management.

Responsibilities

• Formulates, plans, directs, coordinates and evaluates pharmacy services and programs.
• Collaborates on formulary decisions, procurement and drug use evaluations.
• Develops budgets, staffing plans and supervises pharmacy personnel.
• Oversees records management and medication safety programs.
• Provides pharmacology education to medical and nursing staff.
