Are you a licensed New York Pharmacist with hospital experience who’s ready to step into a leadership role? We are seeking a Pharmacy Operations Manager to oversee the daily workflow and performance of a busy inpatient pharmacy department within a respected healthcare organization serving the community.

About the Role

The Pharmacy Operations Manager will guide day-to-day inpatient pharmacy operations while supporting quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. This individual will play a key role in ensuring efficient medication distribution, staff coordination, and process improvement across the department.

This is a full-time, day-shift leadership position within a modern hospital pharmacy setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct daily hospital pharmacy operations, including workflow coordination and productivity oversight
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff; assign responsibilities to maintain efficiency and service standards
  • Ensure accuracy and safety in medication preparation, dispensing, packaging, and distribution
  • Monitor compliance with state and federal regulations governing hospital pharmacy practice
  • Partner with leadership on departmental scheduling, payroll review, and staffing optimization
  • Support pharmacy informatics initiatives and operational technology improvements
  • Identify opportunities to enhance patient safety and streamline pharmacy processes
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high-quality patient care
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy (PharmD or equivalent)
