Job summary

InfuCare Rx is seeking a Pharmacy Service Representative in West Palm Beach to advocate for patients and ensure prescribed therapy is delivered in accordance with care plans. You will coordinate with Pharmacist-In-Charge and Staff Pharmacists, manage communications, and help educate patients on the Digital platform.

The role requires healthcare experience, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with home infusion and specialty pharmacy is a plus.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacy technician in the state of employment.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Healthcare experience required.
• Specialty Pharmacy and Home Infusion experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with patients to ensure proper delivery of medications (both acute, IVIG and specialty) for scheduled infusion appointments.
• Assists with determining patient availability for the Digital designation and will assist in education for the patient on using the Digital platform.
• Ensures that patients receive notifications and understand appointment schedule.
• Responds to patient calls timely and appropriately.
• Obtains and updates necessary patient demographic and related data according to policies and procedures.
• Data enters relevant communications in progress notes of pharmacy operating system.
• Attending meetings and other functions necessary to perform duties and assist in business development for the Company, including assisting in launching a certain data collection software.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Description:

Reporting to the Pharmacist-In-Charge and Staff Pharmacists, the Pharmacy Service Representative will act as the patient's advocate to ensure that the prescribed drug therapy, pharmacy assessment and pharmacy care plan are followed as prescribed and meets the medical, social, and personal needs of the patient.

Requirements:

• Must possess a current and in good standing pharmacy technician license in state of employment
