Job summary

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, seeks a Pharmacy Residency Program Coordinator to support the Residency Program and serve as the Internal Medicine pharmacist. You will coordinate activities, maintain documentation, and precept students and residents within a collaborative clinical setting.

You will work with the Residency Program Director and Pharmacy leadership to ensure accreditation compliance and program excellence, contributing to resident education and patient care

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years acute care pharmacist experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Pharmacy Residency Program administration and day-to-day operations.
• Collaborate with Residency Program Director (RPD), Pharmacy Leadership, and Graduate Medical Education (GME).
• Maintain program records and accreditation documentation; support recruitment, onboarding and educational activities.
• Provide patient care support to the Internal Medicine team and serve as a preceptor to pharmacy students and residents.
• Assist with activities to maintain compliance with accreditation and organizational standards.

The Pharmacy Residency Program Coordinator supports the administration and day-to-day operations of the Pharmacy Residency Program in collaboration with the Residency Program Director (RPD), Pharmacy Leadership, and Graduate Medical Education (GME). This role coordinates residency program activities, maintains program records and accreditation documentation, facilitates resident onboarding and educational activities, and supports recruitment, evaluation, and program compliance. This role will also serve the facility as the primary Internal Medicine pharmacist which entails regular interdisciplinary rounds, medication profile optimization, patient education and teaching all types of learners. The Pharmacy Residency Program Coordinator serves as a resource to residents, preceptors, pharmacy staff, and organizational departments regarding residency program requirements, schedules, and administrative processes. This role provides patient care support to the Internal Medicine team and serves as a preceptor to pharmacy students and residents. In addition, this role supports continuous program improvement and assists with activities necessary to maintain compliance with applicable accreditation and organizational standards. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
