About Manatee Memorial Hospital (MMH):

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, has served the citizens of Manatee, Sarasota and surrounding counties for over 70 years. Position Summary:

For ALL Pharmacists: Provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care primarily through providing service excellence, clinical services, distributive functions, education, and a commitment to the department’s mission. He/she shall possess characteristics to successfully fulfill their responsibilities, including effective communication, flexibility, attention to detail, initiative, cooperation, and a high level of knowledge and skills applicable to their area of practice. He/she will regularly profile orders for medications, monitor patient’s drug therapies, provide drug information, and initiate/modify drug therapy based on medical staff approved policies and protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Pharmacy (BS Pharm) from an accredited institution
• Doctorate degree in Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution, preferred
• Current Pharmacist License in the State of Florida
• Board Certification (BCPS), preferred
• Knowledge of hospital based information system, reporting features, and Microsoft Office
• Strong proficiency in computer literacy including but not limited to MS Office, Pharmacy clinical systems (Cerner), and Pyxis technologies, preferred
