Job summary

Medwiz of Illinois LLC is seeking a Pharmacy Receiving Technician to accurately receive, verify, and stock pharmaceutical deliveries in our Illinois facility. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

You will label and store medications, maintain records, and collaborate with inventory management to keep accurate stock levels while adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous pharmacy or healthcare setting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and inventory management practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming pharmaceutical deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Inspect deliveries for accuracy, quality, and regulatory compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Label and store medications and supplies in designated areas.
• Maintain accurate records of received items, discrepancies, and returns to vendors.
• Collaborate with the inventory management team to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
• Assist with inventory counts and audits as needed.
• Ensure the receiving area is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures at all times.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers, pharmacists, and other team members to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
• Assist with other pharmacy tasks as directed by the Production Manager/Fulfillment/Inventory Manager.
• Ability to lift and carry weights up to 30 lbs, stand, and walk for extended periods.
