Medix is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician in Illinois to support prescription and equipment preparation, patient interaction, and inventory control. The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and customer service within a closed-door pharmacy setting.

Ideal candidates will hold an Illinois license and a national certification (PTCB or NHA) with at least two years of experience, and be available for shifts typical in healthcare environments.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Illinois.
• National Certification: PTCB or NHA.
• Experience in a closed-door pharmacy (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Review and validate basic prescription drug refill requests and process according to policies and procedures.
• Assist with preparing and dispensing medications & supplies.
• Track inventory through accurate data entry into applicable system(s).
• Schedule routine patient deliveries.
• Receive & verify quantities of incoming supplies & materials.
• Stock & store new supplies & materials.

Connaissances

Illinois pharmacy license

PTCB/NHA certification

Experience in closed-door pharmacy
