We are recruiting for a motivated Pharmacy Project Specialist II to join our team!

Job Summary

Under minimal supervision of the Senior Director of Pharmacy Services, the Project Specialist provides system administrative and technical support to Pharmacy and serves as a resource to Pharmacy Leadership and Staff. Assists in the completion of projects in support of Denver Health's strategic initiatives. Effectively manages the coordination of meetings, prepares documentation and presentations, compiles data, and updates key stakeholders. Analyzes and tracks project deliverables and schedules.

Essential Functions
  1. Project Coordination: Assists in the creation, preparation, and oversight of inter- and intradepartmental projects. Establishes objectives, timelines, and promotes efficiency. Manages multiple projects, initiates improvements, and produces reports. (40%)
  2. Financial Management: Organizes and submits department invoices, assists in budget management and expenditure control. (15%)
  3. Personnel Files Management: Manages employee personnel files in compliance with standards. (15%)
  4. Administrative Support: Coordinates candidate interviews, travel, onboarding, and tracks department travel orders. (15%)
  5. Meetings & Communications: Participates in department meetings, evaluates operations, and makes recommendations. Prepares correspondence, reports, and maintains department sites with updated visuals. (15%)
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 1-3 years of project coordination, process improvement, or administrative experience in healthcare or related field
