Job summary

Blue Shield of California is seeking a Manager, Pharmacist to lead the Clinical Pharmacy Programs team, developing and coordinating pharmacy programs that improve member health and optimize costs. The role reports to the Pharmacist Senior Manager, Clinical Pharmacy Operations.

This hybrid, in-office role requires a CA-licensed pharmacist, a PharmD, and extensive managed care experience, plus leadership and program-management skills to drive cross-functional collaboration and impactful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Requires active California RPh license.
• PharmD from an accredited U.S. school.
• 7 years of experience in a managed care setting.
• 2 years of people management experience (team lead/supervisor/manager).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong project/program management, analytic, and critical thinking skills.
• Thorough clinical knowledge of drug therapy.
