Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy in Carroll, OH is seeking a Production Pharmacy Technician to prepare, package, label, and QC medications in a high-volume setting. You will operate Pillvac, MTS-350, and Omnicell E3 systems under a licensed pharmacist, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

The role focuses on blister-pack production, inventory management, and timely fulfillment for long-term care facilities nationwide. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Active OH Pharmacy Technician registration/license as required by state law.
• Minimum of one year of pharmacy technician experience in a production setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Proficiency with basic computer and pharmacy software.
• Knowledge of blister packaging, cycle-fill processes, and adherence packaging workflows.

Responsibilities

• Operate Pillvac, MTS-350, and Omnicell E3 packaging equipment to produce blister-packed medications.
• Load, prepare, and replenish medications, blister cards, labels, and packaging materials.
• Verify medication identity, lot numbers, expiration dates, and packaging specs.
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain production records, batch logs, and inventory tracking.
• Stage completed orders for pharmacist verification.
• Adhere to HIPAA, regulations, SOPs and QA programs.
