Job summary

MUSC Health is seeking an Expense Pharmacy Coordinator to oversee purchasing surveillance across MUHA pharmacies and develop quality data analytics for leadership use. You will assist in daily operations in the pharmacy distribution center as needed to promote efficiency and revenue.

You will collaborate with area leaders, the DC Director, and 340B coordinator to ensure contract compliance and curb unnecessary spend, while supporting cost savings and quality improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy or a Bachelors degree in pharmacy.
• Pharmacy residency preferred.
• Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchasing surveillance in pharmacy locations.
• Ensure ICCE complies with medication procurement contracts; address issues.
• Analyze purchasing data to identify negative trends and advise area leaders.
