Our Pharmacy Process Improvement Lead serves as a strategic partner to the Chief Pharmacy Officer and pharmacy executive leadership team, driving the execution of enterprise pharmacy priorities across quality, safety, clinical outcomes, operational performance, regulatory readiness, and financial stewardship.
This role provides centralized leadership for Pharmacy's strategic portfolio, ensuring initiatives are aligned with organizational priorities, governed effectively, measured consistently, and translated into measurable enterprise results. The position serves as the primary program management resource supporting pharmacy transformation across the continuum of care and advancing Mass General Brigham's vision of becoming a highly reliable, outcomes-driven pharmacy enterprise.
Success will be demonstrated through measurable improvements in medication safety, clinical outcomes, medication access, care transitions, operational performance, stewardship, workforce effectiveness, and achievement of nationally recognized professional practice excellence standards.
Reporting to the Chief Pharmacy Officer, this position leads enterprise-wide strategic initiatives that improve medication-related outcomes, advance pharmacy practice, and strengthen organizational performance.
The role partners with pharmacy leaders, operational teams, clinicians, and executive stakeholders to establish governance structures, monitor performance, coordinate complex initiatives, and drive execution of high-priority enterprise programs.
Responsibilities span project and portfolio management, strategic planning, performance measurement, executive reporting, accreditation readiness, and continuous improvement.
This position serves as a key advisor and facilitator, ensuring pharmacy initiatives deliver measurable value while supporting enterprise goals related to patient safety, quality, access, operational excellence, workforce development, and financial sustainability.
This role provides critical infrastructure to support the continued transformation of Mass General Brigham Pharmacy into a unified, high-performing enterprise. Through strategic execution, performance management, and operational coordination, the position enables the organization to improve patient outcomes, reduce variation, strengthen compliance, optimize resource utilization, and accelerate achievement of enterprise pharmacy priorities.
