Qualifications

• National Pharmacy Technician certification and applicable state license are required.
• 1–5+ years of Pharmacy Prior Authorization processing experience.

Responsibilities

• Process prior authorization requests by phone, fax, or electronically and support reviews with clinical research.
• Proactively complete approvals/denials and maintain accurate documentation.
• Review denial language to ensure NCQA requirements are met.
• Follow established prior authorization workflows, policies, and procedures.
• Handle high volume inquiries from providers, pharmacies, and internal partners.
