Job summary

The School of Pharmacy at MCPHS University in Boston, MA seeks a pharmacy practice faculty member to deliver high-quality learning experiences for Doctor of Pharmacy students. The role includes teaching, mentorship, service, and scholarship to enhance the program's visibility and impact.

The selected candidate will deliver didactic and experiential instruction, advise students, collaborate with clinical teams, and participate in governance and scholarly activities.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have a PharmD degree and be eligible to practice in MA.
• Residency/fellowship or equivalent experience preferred.
• Commitment to undergraduate/graduate/professional education and student success.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and interact with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver didactic instruction and experiential instruction via multiple formats in the Doctor of Pharmacy Program.
• Provide students an approved syllabus that includes course objectives and learning outcomes.
• Advise and assist students through in-person office hours or scheduled appointments.
• Provide service including student mentoring, ongoing course development, and assessment.
• Collaborates with clinical service within an internal medicine patient care team at the practice site.
• Participates in University continuing education programs and scholarly activities.
