Job description

The pharmacy technician is a critical member of the healthcare team and is essential to providing patients with safe and effective medication therapy. The pharmacy technician works closely with pharmacists to assist with dispensing medication throughout the healthcare system.

Classification: Part Time

Schedule:

• 16 hour/week
• (2) 8-hour shifts
• Staggered shifts between 7:30 AM and 8:00 PM, including rotating weekends and holidays

Required Skills:

Current Pharmacy Technician licensure in the state of Idaho

Knowledge of medication names, pharmacy math, and sterile technique

Strong communication skills, customer service, and patient care

Preference given for healthcare experience

High school graduate or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in any major preferred.
