Job summary

Banner Rehabilitation Hospital East is seeking a Travel Inpatient Pharmacist for a 13-week assignment. You will provide inpatient pharmacy services, verify orders, and dispense medications while traveling to partner facilities across the country. The role requires inpatient experience, a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, and an active license.

Start date is 2026-10-16 with an end date of 2027-01-15. Competitive weekly pay and travel stipends apply.

Qualifications

• Current, valid license to practice as a Pharmacist.

Job Description

VIBRA TRAVELS is seeking a Travel Inpatient Pharmacist to join our expanding network of healthcare professionals. We're looking for dependable, detail-focused travelers with experience providing pharmacy services in an inpatient hospital setting. Minimum Qualifications

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Pharmacist in the state of employment required
• Minimum of two (2) years of recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program required
• Experience verifying medication orders and preparing and dispensing medications in an inpatient setting required
• Current, valid, and active driver's license required
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation

Certificates, Licensures, Registrations

• Current, valid, and active state license to practice as a Pharmacist required
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and required by some clients
• Additional certifications may be required by Vibra Travels and/or client

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• Experience collaborating with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Strong knowledge of inpatient medication safety, dosing, and clinical protocols
• Familiarity with computerized physician order entry (CPOE) systems and pharmacy information systems
• Ability to perform medication reconciliation and participate in clinical consults as required
• Strong attention to accuracy and detailFree from illegal drug use and effects of alcohol in the workplace
