Job summary

SPECIALTY RX, Inc. is seeking a Packaging Operator to ensure efficient packaging while adhering to quality and safety standards in our Roanoke, VA facility.

The role requires strong mechanical knowledge, familiarity with CGMP and FDA regulations, and the ability to operate and maintain packaging equipment. Forklift operation and teamwork with warehouse staff are also important parts of the job.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
• Pharmacy Technician Registration required.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Familiarity with CGMP guidelines and FDA regulations desirable.
• Proficient with hand tools and packaging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor packaging machinery to ensure efficient production flow.
• Assemble and package products according to specifications.
• Troubleshoot packaging equipment issues.
• Perform routine maintenance on packaging equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety regulations.
• Follow FDA regulations and company policies related to packaging processes.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely delivery of packaged products.
• Operate forklifts safely to move materials as needed within the facility.
