PharMerica in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Pharmacy Order Entry Technician to join our closed-door team serving long-term care and senior living clients. This non-retail role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and high-quality customer service within a supportive environment.

You will enter orders, perform basic drug calculations, resolve claim denials, and assist with dispensing under pharmacist supervision, with scheduled shifts Monday-Friday and alternate weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Pharmacy Technician license as required by state.
• Experience in a pharmacy setting with medical terminology.
• Ability to operate a computer and recognize medications.
• Detail oriented, goal oriented, team player, and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Enter and verify medication orders in a computerized system with high accuracy.
• Conduct basic drug calculations including dosage.
• Investigate and resolve pharmacy claim denials; follow-up actions in POS systems.
• Stay current with Medicaid claim regulations and ensure compliance.
• Track unpaid or delayed claims; generate reports for management.
• Provide excellent customer service in line with company values and policies.
• Assist with medication preparation and dispensing under Pharmacist supervision.
• Support additional pharmacy tasks and operations as directed by management.

Schedule

Monday - Friday 11:00am - 8:00pm

9:00am - 6:00pm (Saturday - Sunday) (Every Other Weekend)

As a Pharmacy Order Entry Technician you will:

• Position will be posted for a minimum of 7 business day
