PharMerica is hiring a Pharmacy Technician in Fresno, CA to join our closed-door, non-retail pharmacy team. You will handle medication order entry, data entry, and customer service for healthcare facilities with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Pharmacy Technician license as required by state.
• Experience in a pharmacy setting and knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to operate a computer; recognize and identify medications.

Responsibilities

• Enter and verify medication orders in a computerized system with accuracy.
• Perform basic drug calculations and conversions.
• Investigate and resolve pharmacy claim denials in POS systems.
• Stay updated on Medicaid claim regulations and processing.
• Provide excellent customer service per company policies.
• Assist with medication preparation under Pharmacist supervision.
• Support additional pharmacy tasks as directed.

As a Pharmacy Order Entry Technician you will:

• Enter and verify medication orders in a computerized system with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct basic drug calculations, including dosage and conversion tasks.
• Investigate and resolve pharmacy claim denials; perform follow-up actions in POS systems.
• Stay current with Medicaid claim regulations and ensure compliance in processing.
• Track unpaid or delayed claims; generate reports for management.
• Provide excellent customer service in line with company values and policies.
• Assist with medication preparation and dispensing under Pharmacist supervision.
• Support additional pharmacy tasks and operations as directed by management.

USD $19.00 - $22.00 / Year
