Job summary

Polaris Pharmacy Services is seeking an Order Entry Technician to accurately enter new and refill prescriptions into our pharmacy system. You will handle customer inquiries, support continuous improvement, and ensure adherence to safety policies and HIPAA regulations.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), state-licensed pharmacy technician certification, and at least one year of pharmacy technician experience, preferably in long-term care settings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Pharmacy technician licenses/certifications required by state regulations.
• Minimum of one year working as a pharmacy technician (long-term care pharmacy preferred).
• Experience with brand name/generic medications and data entry is expected.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the pharmacy system.
• Address and respond to customer inquiries and requests.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of client services and procedures.
• Comply with safety policies and government regulations, including HIPAA.
• Follow all applicable policies on safety, attendance, and dress code.
