Job summary

Polaris Pharmacy Services is hiring an Order Entry Technician to enter prescriptions and refills into our system with speed and accuracy. The role focuses on responsive service, error reduction, and meeting internal and external customer expectations in a 24/7 long-term care and specialty pharmacy environment.

The ideal candidate has at least one year as a pharmacy technician, state licensure, and strong data-entry skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy technician license/certification required by state regulations.
• Minimum of one year working as a pharmacy technician (long-term care pharmacy preferred).

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the pharmacy system.
• Address and respond to customer inquiries and requests.
• Contribute to evaluation and continuous improvement of client services, policies and procedures.
• Comply with safety policies and government regulations (HIPAA).
• Follow all applicable policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code.
