Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• Has one year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations; ensure efficient workflow and a positive patient experience under pharmacist supervision.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Assist with patient registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications, counting, and verification where allowed by law.
• Support clinical services including vaccines and health screenings as permitted by law.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians; delegate non-clinical tasks under policy and law.
• Handle insurance claims, answer non-clinical inquiries, and support community outreach and store operations.
