Job summary

City of Hope is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to deliver safe, effective patient care and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. You will supervise Pharmacy Technicians, provide drug information to clinicians, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to maintain high-quality care.

Responsibilities include monitoring therapy, training pharmacy staff, and participating in quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ACPE-accredited Pharmacy School or School with ACPE accreditation pending.
• Current CA Pharmacist License.
• BLS through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and comprehensive patient care in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accrediting bodies.
• Supervise Pharmacy Technicians during shifts and support training of pharmacy personnel.
• Provide accurate drug information to providers, nurses, and clinical staff and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor drug therapy and participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance programs.
• Prepare and dispense medications adhering to department policies and procedures.
