Typical hours are Monday through Friday (7 AM–6 PM MST) with weekend rotation; base pay ranges from $40,500 to $72,500, with eligibility for an incentive plan.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing assistance to pharmacists and pharmacy coordinators in resolution to reviewing clinical documentation for medical necessity based on medical policy. Works with internal departments and external vendors to evaluate and resolve medical prior authorization related issues.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Current Licensed/Certified Pharmacy Technician
• Managed care customer service experience
• Drug information skills
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and database
• Skills to handle multiple tasks and organizational skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related health care field or four years work experience in a health care/insurance industry.

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Retail Pharmacy experience
• Must be a Current Licensed/Certified Pharmacy Technician
• Work Hours are Monday through Friday (8 hours between 7AM – 6 PM MST) with Weekend Rotation
• Training Hours are Monday through Friday 7AM – 3 PM MST

This is a Remote/Work-From-Home role.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

This position may be performed remotely from anywhere within the continental United States, excluding California, New York, Alaska, and Hawaii .

Base Pay Range
