Job summary

Pardee UNC Health Care is seeking a Manager, Pharmacy to lead a team of pharmacy professionals and hourly staff in daily operations at Pardee UNC Health Care.

The role focuses on performance management, budgeting, policy development, and improving patient care outcomes through evidence-based practices. Strong leadership and NC Pharmacist license are required; a Doctoral degree is preferred; on-site, 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
• Licensed as a Pharmacist in the state of North Carolina.
• Experience performing in a leadership capacity.
• Doctoral degree in Pharmacy (preferred).
• Three years in a pharmacist role (preferred).
• Pharmacy Administration Residency training (preferred).
• Five years of leadership experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Recruits, hires, orients and leads a team of pharmacy professionals and hourly staff.
• Coaches and develops the assigned team with timely, constructive feedback.
• Maintains daily clinical operations and supports budget goals.
• Participates in budget planning and recommends capital spending.
• Monitors performance using defined metrics to improve patient care outcomes.
• Defines policies for the assigned area and implements change processes.
• Leads continuous improvement in clinical operations for quality care.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, and institutional policies.
