Job summary

Pardee UNC Health Care in Hendersonville, NC is seeking a Pharmacist In Charge to lead a multidisciplinary team and ensure high-quality dispensary services that improve patient outcomes.

You will oversee clinical protocols, patient education, and compliance, building cross-functional relationships and guiding pharmacy operations within the retail unit. A NC Pharmacist license and a pharmacy degree are required, with leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy required.
• Licensed Pharmacist in North Carolina required.
• Leadership experience in a pharmacist role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, hires, orients, and leads a team of pharmacy professionals in a pharmacy setting as the NC Board of Pharmacy license holder.
• Develops and reviews clinical protocols and operational policies; manages priorities to meet goals.
• Provides clinical and operational pharmacist services to patients and educates them on medications and disease states.
• Develops and maintains training for the team; mentors staff and participates in scholarly activities.
• Identifies and implements clinical pathways and operational improvements to optimize care and cost.
