Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with the Pharmacy Director to implement workflow and productivity measures that achieve performance targets and meet customer expectations.
2. Assist in executing Company Initiatives, Core Processes, and Quality Initiatives to continually improve service quality.
3. Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Local laws/pharmacy regulations and the Corporate Compliance Program.
4. Support pharmacy personnel management issues in conjunction with the Pharmacy Director.
5. Coordinate with Client Services and Sales teams to communicate effectively with customers (DONs, Administrators, Staff RNs) and resolve issues.
6. Work with pharmacy management to implement daily operational quality and cost containment strategies across dispensing and procurement activities.
7. Monitor purchasing and inventory supply to meet goals such as inventory turns, preferred products, generics, TI, and controlled drug monitoring.
8. Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Licenses/Certifications:

• As required by government regulations and business needs

Education:

• High school diploma with a minimum of five years of management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

• Experience in a pharmacy setting (LTC preferred)
• Detail-oriented, goal-oriented, team player, strong oral communication skills
