Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full‑time Pharmacy Technician in Ohio to support pharmacists with prescription processing, data entry, and patient services. Under supervision, you will assist in vaccine administration and health screenings where allowed by law, while ensuring compliance with company policies.

You will lead non-clinical workflow, help train technicians, and contribute to a positive patient experience. Strong English communication and flexibility for evenings/weekends are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care activities including registration, prescription data entry, preparation and counting of medications.
• Under pharmacist supervision, perform non-clinical tasks and support health services where allowed by law.
• Lead and develop pharmacy technician personnel, including scheduling and performance management.
