Job summary

Polaris Pharmacy Services of Northern CA – Livermore, CA is seeking a General Manager to lead pharmacy operations, developing and implementing strategies to enhance operational excellence and customer service across the site.

You will oversee workflow, staffing, compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, ensure timely medication deliveries, coach teams, and drive improvements in processes and performance.

Qualifications

• Operations management experience including management of workflow, resources, quality, and compliance.
• Bachelor's Degree or related experience required.
• PharmD strongly preferred or equivalent credentials.
• Licensed Pharmacist in the state of practice and in good standing.
• Proven track record of operations management and improving customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Run the operational performance of a designated pharmacy to achieve targets while complying with regulations.
• Ensure resources are mobilized and operating effectively to meet customer commitments; develop action plans with internal partners.
• Apply supply chain and pharmacy operations expertise to improve processes and efficiency.
• Implement enterprise-wide standard processes, programs, and procedures within the location.
• Ensure medication delivery routes meet customer needs.
• Lead training and engagement of pharmacy staff and coach direct reports.
• Monitor and improve location operation metrics, employee engagement, and compliance.
