Job summary

Rx relief partners with a top-tier regional health system in California's Central Valley to appoint a pharmacy leader who supports the Director of Pharmacy in achieving clinical, technical, and operational excellence across the health system.

The role guides an interprofessional team delivering evidence-informed care across NICU, PICU, Oncology, Palliative, Emergency, and ambulatory specialties, with a focus on protocol governance and systems integration.

Qualifications

• PharmD from an accredited program is required; MBA/MPH or equivalent and ASHP-accredited residency are strongly preferred.
• Active California Pharmacist license is required.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical or operational pharmacy experience; 5+ years leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with executive leadership to implement departmental vision, evaluate productivity metrics, and manage daily hospital pharmacy functions.
• Direct and mentor clinical staff, ambulatory specialists, and pharmacy informatics team members.
• Serve as an organizational liaison on interdisciplinary committees, quality task forces, and clinical initiatives.
• Lead pharmacy systems integration and analytics to drive process improvements and ensure regulatory compliance.

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)

Master’s degree (MBA, MPH, or equivalent)
