Job summary

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions and counsel patients per Kinney Standard of Practice.
• Perform quality assurance steps to ensure accurate prescriptions; report incidents promptly.
• Follow State and Federal guidelines governing the practice of Pharmacy.
• Oversee submission, resubmission and collection of all third party claims.
• Manage and balance pharmacy inventory; coordinate orders with Kinney Warehouse and suppliers.
• Check inventory for outdates and process returns.
• Maintain prescription files and other records per regulations.
• Utilize in-store pharmacy technology to maximize ROI.
• Ensure outstanding customer service is exhibited by all employees.
• Follow loss prevention policies and report deviations.
• Assist in implementing corporate marketing, advertising and promotions.
• Maintain a clean and professional pharmacy department environment.
• Develop professional relationships with doctors and health professionals.
• Stay aware of developments in Pharmacy and Health Care fields and integrate.
• Assist in training pharmacy staff on Kinney Clerk and Technician programs.
• Interface with auditors and outside agencies as needed.
• Complete all mandatory regulatory training programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
