Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy Degree OR BS Pharmacy Degree.
- Three years of pharmacy practice experience; managerial/supervisor experience preferred.
- Licensed Pharmacist or eligible to practice pharmacy in North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate pharmaceutical care responsibilities; plan and schedule work; manage staff development and recruitment; ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Leads the pharmacy operations program including automation, procurement and prepackaging.
- Provides basic technical support for automated dispensing machines and other pharmacy computer programs.
- Collaborates with DUHS Controlled Substances Diversion Prevention team for local compliance and drug diversion efforts.
- Trains pharmacy residents, students and technician trainees; supports continuous professional growth.
