Job summary

Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare is seeking a seasoned Pharmacy Leader to manage daily operations of the hospital pharmacy services. You will guide staff, ensure high quality patient care, and align pharmacy activities with organizational goals.

Responsibilities include budgeting, workforce planning, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with medical staff to optimize medication use and patient outcomes across the system.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Pharmacy preferred; bachelor’s required.
• Minimum 3–5 years in pharmacy leadership or hospital administration.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy practice standards and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with budgeting, staffing, and operational planning.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily operations of the assigned pharmacy area(s).
• Leads staff performance, sets goals, and drives cooperation.
• Develops staff education programs and ensures competency.
• Plans staffing and schedules based on workload and productivity.
• Assists in budgeting and monitoring expenditures.
• Develops plans to control costs and improve operations.
• Ensures compliance with quality, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
• Fosters collaboration with medical staff and other departments.
• Leads research initiatives to improve medication use.
