Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care including registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications, counting, and verification under supervision.
• Delegate, direct, and assign non-clinical work in the pharmacy per company policies and laws to ensure workflow efficiency.
• Prepare and file reports and records required by the company and government agencies.
• Manage pharmacy workflow and daily scheduling, ensure proper inventory and security safeguards.
• Maintain compliance with Good Faith Dispensing and document prescription errors and insurance claims.
• Support store and pharmacy managers in financials, quality, and customer service improvements.
• Coordinate with the Pharmacy Manager to assign pharmacists to off-site immunization clinics and community events.
