Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a certified pharmacy technician to support daily operations in a Florida pharmacy. You will assist pharmacists with patient registration, prescription data entry, medication preparation, and verification under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• PTCB certification required where applicable.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care including registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications, counting and verification where allowed by law.
• Under pharmacist supervision, perform non-clinical tasks to ensure efficient workflow and customer service.
• Lead training, coaching and performance management of pharmacy technicians; handle disciplinary actions as needed.
• Maintain inventory and ensure compliance with state/federal laws and company policies; support recordkeeping and reporting.
