Job summary

UofL Health is a fully integrated regional academic health system serving Louisville and surrounding communities. The Supervisor, Pharmacy Services will lead operations, technology, medication safety, and regulatory compliance across suburban campuses, ensuring safe, timely, and patient-centered medication use.

This role partners with clinicians, nurses, pharmacists and staff to improve core processes, train personnel, and implement quality initiatives, while overseeing sterile and non-sterile

Qualifications

• Graduated from ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy (required).
• PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency required or three (3) years of relevant work experience (required).
• Licensed or license eligible as a pharmacist in the Commonwealth of Kentucky (required).
• Current board certification by Board of Pharmacy Specialties® or must obtain within two (2) years from date of hire (preferred).
• Current Basic Life Support certification or must obtain within 90 days from date of hire (required).

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead pharmacy operations and patient care services across suburban campuses.
• Ensure compliance with USP standards (797/795) and handling of hazardous drugs (800).
• Provide training, supervision, and oversight of pharmacy staff.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to optimize medication use safety and outcomes.
• Maintain quality assurance programs and support medication safety initiatives.
