Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician to support daily non-clinical and clinical pharmacy operations in Circle Pines, MN. Under the supervision of a pharmacist, you will help with patient registration, data entry, and medication preparation, while leading a team of technicians and ensuring efficient workflow.

You will engage customers to resolve issues and deliver high-quality service, including health screenings and vaccines where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or equivalent.
• PTCB certification (except Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care activities including patient registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications, counting and verification where allowed by law.
• Under pharmacist supervision, perform non-clinical tasks and support health services offerings including vaccines and health screenings where allowed by law.
• Lead and manage pharmacy technicians: hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, performance management, and compliance with policies.
