The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston is seeking a Lead Pharmacy Technologist to supervise the daily operations of the technical staff, assist pharmacists with drug distribution, and oversee the preparation, storage, and dispensing of pharmaceuticals.

You will train staff, ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, participate in performance improvement initiatives, and collaborate with pharmacy leadership to maintain efficient workflows in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Requires active registration as Pharmacy Technician with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP).
• Minimum qualifications include high school diploma or equivalent plus 5 years of pharmacy technician experience or an associate/bachelor’s degree with 3 years of technician experience.
