Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico) required.
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in retail or hospital setting.
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care including registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications, counting and verification where allowed by law.
• Handle patient and physician calls under the supervision of a pharmacist; support health services where allowed by law.
• Delegate, direct, and assign non-clinical work in the pharmacy to ensure on-time completion under company policies and laws.
• Prepare reports and records required by the company and government agencies as directed by the Pharmacy Manager.
• Manage pharmacy workflow and inventory; maintain secure and organized pharmacy operations.
