Job summary

Under the supervision of a pharmacist, you will support non-clinical operations, process prescriptions, register patients, and help maintain accurate medication records to ensure a smooth workflow and a positive patient experience.

You will lead training of technicians, manage daily schedules, assist with vaccines and health services where allowed, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification.
• At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in retail or hospital.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care activities including prescription data entry and medication preparation.
• Handle non-clinical tasks to support efficient pharmacy operations.
• Support immunization services and health screenings as allowed.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve questions.
• Ensure accurate processing of insurance claims and support claims resolution.
