The Cigna Group in Tempe is seeking a Pharmacy Operations Lead Representative to oversee the Returns Room daily operations onsite. You will guide staff, ensure quality, and resolve issues, while maintaining HIPAA compliance and safety standards.

This fully on-site role requires Arizona licensure, PTCB certification, and experience in pharmacy/healthcare operations. Onboarding, training, and continuous improvement are key aspects of the position.

Qualifications

• Arizona Pharmacy Technician License active and in good standing.
• PTCB certification current.
• Experience in pharmacy/healthcare/operations or administrative roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data-entry tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily workflow and set operational priorities for the Returns Room.
• Provide day-to-day process guidance to Returns Room staff.
• Assist onboarding, training, and cross-training activities.
• Identify workflow, production, and quality concerns and communicate them.
• Research and process returned medications and prescription packages.
• Communicate with patients and document return-related activity accurately.
• Use multiple systems to resolve operational and patient issues.
• Reinforce SOPs, quality standards, safety requirements and HIPAA policies.
• Maintain proficiency across Returns Room functions and provide hands-on support.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and department initiatives.

We're looking for a Pharmacy Operations Lead Representative to support the daily operations of our Tempe Returns Room. This is an opportunity to build your leadership experience while remaining actively involved in pharmacy operations and helping your teammates succeed.

Location: onsite - 7909 S. Hardy Drive, Tempe, Arizona

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM Mountain Time

Reports to: Returns Supervisor

What You'll Do

• Help coordinate daily workflow, workload, and operational priorities.
• Provide day‑to‑day process guidance and support to Returns Room employees.
• Support onboarding, training, and cross‑training.
• Identify and communicate workflow, production, and quality concerns.
• Research and process returned medications and prescription packages.
• Communicate with patients and accurately document return‑related activity.
• Use multiple systems to research and resolve operational and patient issues.

Required Qualifications

• Current and active Arizona Pharmacy Technician License
• Current PTCB certification
• Pharmacy, healthcare, customer service, operations, or administrative experience
• Microsoft Office and data‑entry experience
