Job summary

The Cigna Group in Tempe is seeking a Pharmacy Operations Lead Representative to oversee the Returns Room's daily workflow and guide staff. This onsite role supports operations and quality, driving timely handling of returned medications and related packages.

You will coordinate onboarding, training, and cross-training while addressing workflow priorities, communicating with patients, and ensuring documentation accuracy across multiple systems.

Qualifications

• Current and active Arizona Pharmacy Technician License
• Current PTCB certification
• Pharmacy, healthcare, customer service, operations, or administrative experience
• Microsoft Office and data-entry experience

Responsibilities

• Help coordinate daily workflow, workload, and operational priorities.
• Provide day-to-day process guidance and support to Returns Room employees.
• Support onboarding, training, and cross-training.
• Identify and communicate workflow, production, and quality concerns.
• Research and process returned medications and prescription packages.
• Communicate with patients and accurately document return-related activity.
• Use multiple systems to research and resolve operational and patient issues.
• Reinforce SOPs, quality standards, safety requirements, HIPAA requirements, and company policies.
• Maintain proficiency across Returns Room functions and provide hands-on operational support.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and department initiatives.

We're looking for a Pharmacy Operations Lead Representative to support the daily operations of our Tempe Returns Room. This is an opportunity to build your leadership experience while remaining actively involved in pharmacy operations and helping your teammates succeed.

Location: onsite - 7909 S. Hardy Drive, Tempe, Arizona

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM Mountain Time

Reports to: Returns Supervisor

What You'll Do

• Help coordinate daily workflow, workload, and operational priorities.
• Provide day-to-day process guidance and support to Returns Room employees.
• Support onboarding, training, and cross-training.
