Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• PTCB certification required where applicable.
• At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions under pharmacist supervision; entering data and preparing medications.
• Assist pharmacist with patient care activities and health services within legal guidelines.
• Lead technician scheduling, training, and performance management as needed.
• Ensure accurate insurance claims processing and resolve issues with payors.
