Johns Hopkins Care at Home in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a Pharmacy Operations Coordinator (Assistant Manager) to supervise daily pharmacy operations and support efficient service. The role involves interpreting prescriptions, compounding and dispensing, and communicating with patients and providers to ensure safe medication use.

Under the Clinical Pharmacy Manager, you will address urgent issues, maintain workflow, and step in during the manager's absence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. required.
• Maryland license to practice pharmacy required.
• Active CPR certification required.
• Pharmacy residency preferred but not required.
• Two years retail outpatient pharmacy experience preferred.
• Two years’ experience interpreting prescriptions, compounding and dispensing in a retail setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations under supervision with initiative.
• Interpret prescriptions, compound and dispense medications as directed.
• Provide medication information to patients and clinicians to promote safety.
• In the manager's absence, assume full responsibility for operations.
