Requires a Pharm.D or ACPE-accredited degree and at least three years of pharmacist experience, including quality assurance exposure. The role involves supervising staff, developing production schedules, and ensuring DEA and FDA compliance to maintain high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree (Pharm.D) or Bachelor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited school.
• Three years of pharmacist experience, with at least one year in quality assurance or quality control.

Responsibilities

• Oversees medication dispensing and coordinates technicians.
• Maintains FDA/regulatory compliance of environmental programs and data thresholds.
• Creates and delivers production schedules and completes related tasks (inspection, labeling, packaging).
• Implements quality improvement activities and ensures compliance with patient care standards.
• Coordinates department activities with other departments and sets checks for quality of care.
• Leads staff, assigns tasks, trains, and schedules shifts; precepts students/residents.
